If you are looking for an apartment in northwest Indiana, be sure you do not move here!!! You will be so sorry you ever met the RUDE staff in the office. They will be sooo nice till you move in but after that they have a serious problem with LYING and ATTITUDES. Anyone can get an apartment easy here, they don't care because they need the money. The grass was super tall because apparently they bounced checks to the landscapers. It wasn't even cut until after memorial day. I could barely see the humungous mounds of dog crap through the knee high weeds. I don't know if they were doing us a favor or not!! They allow any dogs even rottweillers and they sometimes run free on the property. The walls are thin and you can hear everything...even the neighbors when they.....! The other day, I even heard the neighbor just taking a piss
!!! That is how bad it is. If you have already made the terrible mistake like we did of moving in here, make sure to get EVERYTHING in writing from the office. In the past week, we have been told so many different stories about their policies. I don't know how anyone would renew their lease when they let people like the black girl work in the office. Not to mention that all of the nice people quit because Summerwood bounced their payroll checks!! Unless you enjoy paying way too much for your apartment, being lied to and decieved, living with a bunch of homies, and knowing your neighbors WAY too personally, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER SUMMERWOOD APARTMENT HOMES. Turn and run like HELL!!!
