Get Me Out Of Here!

Years at this apartment: 2002-01-01 - 2003-01-01
My time at Summerwood has been nothing but headaches and bad experiences. Last year our heater's filter was supposed to be changed. When I got home from work I found the door unlocked and wide open for anyone to come in! This year I came home to an eviction notice on my door. You can imagine my shock when I pay my rent on time every month. After asking the manager what happened I found out that a list of all rentors was obtained from the corporate office and the manager randomly highlighted names on the list. The highligted names received a notice giving them three days to leave. The manager's response to both incidences were simply "There are 600 apartments here, we can't possibly keep track of them all" I have yet to receive a sincere apology. The manager has a severe attitude problem and no care or concern for any of her renters. She stated to me that she's running a business. My question is what kind of a business? Certainly not one I would be proud to run!Nothing at Summerwood is clean. The landscaping (what little there is) is not weeded and kept looking very sad. There is trash all over the property (on the grass and in the "sparkling" lakes). Building hallways are never cleaned, trash builds up for months at a time. The laundry room is disgusting! Trash is all over the floor because the trash cans are overflowing. Good luck getting any change from the change machine! Have fun walking a mile to your apartment because of the lack of parking spaces. We pay too much in rent to have to deal with this manager and our living conditions. I don't know if I can handle living there until our lease is up.
