Oh my, where do I begin' We were lucky because we ran away before signing our lease. At first we were shown a model that looked absolutely gorgeous, lake view, ducks with baby ducklings. Even the exterior of the building looked nice. PLEASE NOTE: The front building is obviously well kept to fool prospective residents. Oh and of course, they conveniently did not have the actual apartment that we were to move into available to show. So moving day arrives and we were given the keys to look at our apartment and garage. (mind you, I got the garage last minute after reading about vandalism). I figured ok, my new vehicle will be safe, how bad can the apartment be' Boy were we in a for a shock. First, we drive almost all the way to the back and find our garage which was a shed with a wood roof and it was wet and smelly.

We walked up to our apartment and were horrified when the apartment looked NOTHING like the model. The carpet looked dirty, there were dead bugs on the floor, and a big live spider on the balcony. The water heater which is in a closet in the dining room was making a loud clanging noise.

On the way out, we decided to drive up and down each building to check out the surroundings. All the people we saw were adolescent to teenage boys walking up and down looking for trouble, they were ALL OVER THE PLACE! One of them actually said while staring at a brand new mustang convertible- and I quote "Check out those Rims!" I said that's it, we are under no circumstances moving here! It was like a housing project- It should be called Summer Hood. Seriously, I am not exaggerating at all. The place was SCARY. I could not believe what I was seeing.

All the negative reviews are true. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from Summerwood.

THEY DONT PAY THERE BILLS NOR THERE EMPLOYEES THE NEW MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE THERE IS MOLD GROWONG IN THE APARTMENTS
