I lived here for one year (or should I say paid rent there for one year) and hated it. I found myself staying at friends houses most times because I was unable to sleep between the next door neighbors fighting like Ike and Tina, and the downstairs neighbors having sex that sounded like they were shooting a porno every night. I wasn't even comfortable having company over and rarely did. Parking was so bad that I spent $50.00 a month on a garage. I had pretty much had it when I found out that the laundry room in the building could not be used during the winter months, and that I had to haul my clothes over to that wretched laundry facility! Part of the reason I selected a third floor apartment was so that the machines would be right outside my door, but alot of good that did come November. I never had any issues with mold or things breaking in my apartment like some other posters, but maybe it was because of the building that I was in.

My overall experience at Summerwood led me to homeownership, and I got my real estate license so I could help other renters get the heck out! If you're there now, I feel your pain. If your lease is close to being up and you don't ever want to rent again, let me know and I'll try to help you get out just like I did. Stay safe!
