I moved in October 2007. I was moving from indianapolis back to our home town and was excited to be able to see such a beautiful apartment (the model). I did a walk through the day before I was to move (must I put all my stuff was in Indy already on the truck) and when I walked into what was supposed to be our new home I was mortified. Toliet seats falling off, tubs were disgusting, the odor in the apaprtment was as if it flooded, walls were not painted, carpet was gross, I can keep going on and on. I was in tears. I mentioned to the office and maintainance staff I could not move in, in the condition it was in. Make a long story short they gave me a garage to store my stuff in till the apartment was done. The garages were nasty as well. I ended up moving in a week later (new carpet, toliet seats) The tubs were still disgusting but decided if it was to be done right I would have to do it myself. Well, once we moved in we were talking with the neighbors and they said the apartment just flooded a couple weeks ago (the staff said no it didn't). Once we were moved in there we had numerous things that needed to be done by maintance. That is when they disclosed yes a pipe busted and the apartment did flood but asured me there would be no further problems. We my little boy started having bad sneezing spells and had numerous asthma attacks (one of which we almost lost him)Once investigating our apartment on both bedroom windows was thick black mold etc. Again they said they took care of the problem and everything should be fine...Well, August 5 we had a bad storm come through and once I woke up realized I had about 4 feet out water, base boards had water marks, etc. I called the apartments...I must add the new property manager was amazing. She did listen to me going off and she did what she could but I have had about enough with this apartment. My son was always having asthma attacks, my allergies were bad and when they pulled the base boards off OMG there was thick I mean thick black mold. They have since cut about 9 inches from the ground up and put industrial fans on the open wall to dry it out. We were staying in a hotel from August 5th up until we just moved into a new house. I have had to consult a lawyer and the health department because I guess they did not like me coming into the office everyday. My thing now is I am Sooooo happy to be out of there. I had nothing but problems and trust me this is just a part of it but be careful. The model is one thing but what you get is completely something different. If I could rate this apartment in the negative's I would....

OMG! I was suppose to move in two weeks ago, and I wanted to see the apartment before I moved in and the hallway was HORRIBLE! You can smell and see the dog and cat urine and fecal. The apartment had burnt holes in the bathroom floor, and do you know the manager was trying to fight me on my deposit. I told her the living conditions were horrible, and I would want my dog to live there. I can't believe people live in those type of conditions. It is a nasty place, and I told her the only way I would live there if I had the model. I'm now at the Huntington Cove which is really nice.
