Living here depresses me. The pot holes are ridiculous, something out of a WWII movie. The grounds are unkempt, trash in and around the ponds, the hallways smell like --- and are littered w/ trash, nothing has been replaced or updated in the older half of the complex (washer/dryer, dishwasher, fixtures). The intercom system used to let people in/out is broken, buttons missing, exposed wires, if someone comes to visit you they need to bring their cell in order to call you when they arrive - asked management to fix it, oh 8 months ago, maintenance came out and fiddled w/ it, left it as is. The lamenent in the batrooms and kitchen have yellow spots on the worn areas, kinda gross. Noisy in wall air conditioners (can be a ----- when trying to fall asleep), the ceiling fans get loose every couple days and rattle when on - forcing you turn your tv up in order to hear, or leave the room when on the phone. My master bedroom is huge, w/ a ginat walk-in closet. Main bathroom is big as well, the sinks and tubs are dingy though, CLR/Clorox the ---- outta 'em and they still look like hepatitis factories. Lots of space for the money, great for college kids/roommates, etc. It is fairly quiet (even w/ a bunch of college kids), people keep to themselves. There are some creepy/shady mofo's, but that's what the 2nd amendment is for. The new ladies in the office are really nice as opposed to the trashy wigger ------- they had before.

Intially moved here b/c of a pet... can say the Edward Rose properties (Indian Lakes, Autumn Lakes, etc.) are much better - as long as you don't get stuck in a flood plain - seriously. Stephenson Mills are much nicer, but salty. Same w/ Main Street Village - nice but too expensive.

Think I'll just bite the bullet and pay more at Main Street Village though.

I completely agree. Our "security" door doesn't even shut. The day we moved in they put in the washer/drying unit but didn't hook it up. That took over a month to get someone to do. The washer/dryer, we then discovered, was broken. Took another 2 months to get a new one.
