If you are reading this review because you are trying to find an apartment, DO NOT move here! I have lived in a lot of apartments in my life and this is by far the worst one. First of all, the prices for these crappy apartments are way too high for what you get! The heating system in my building is completely crazy, it's hard to even explain how it works but I'll try! Ok, instead of having a regular heater they have these things that somehow control the entire building. They are these register/pipe type things that are in the living room and one of the bedrooms connected to the wall down by the floor. You have a small round knob that has a setting from 1-5. Low being at 1, highest being at 5. The heat comes from HOT water that runs through these pipe things and THAT is how you get heat. When they turn the whole system on when it starts getting cold you constantly have some sort of heat coming into your apartment even if it is really hot in your apartment and you don't want it on yet. It is so stupid and I have no idea why they ever built this place like that! A few more things to vent about: the maintenance guys are rude and one of them seems to be high or something all the time. They don't take care of anything in a timely fashion, if you have maint. problems in your apartment plan on it taking a long time to get fixed (if it does at all). Oh and the older manager that took over after the younger one left is a terrible manager. I have talked to her a couple of times and she was rude both times and acts like she does not even care about you. At least the manager before her was really friendly and made you feel like she really cared. When she was here it seemed like things might actually get better because things were being fixed outside, the maintenance guys were friendlier, and she even personally called me one time when I had a maint. problem just to make sure that I was happy with everything! She was only here for like 6 months though and my neighbor told me it was because she was wanting to fix everything wrong with the place and the owners didn't want her to spend so much money so they fired her! Nice owners, huh' Ok, I guess I have vented enough about this place for now. Bottom line is DON'T move here. You are better off at Autumn Lakes or even Castle Point!

I know all about the heating in the apartments in the front. I use to live in one for a couple of months that I had to get out of there. It was always so hot in there we had to sleep with windows open. We moved in the back of the complex where we control our own heat and air. Big mistake. They forget about you in the back they don't care and don't want to hear anything from you. They keep the front clean and looking nice because of the office but take a ride in the back you have broken gargages.broken fences, broken security doors, flower boxes broken, pliars missing bricks at the bottom which is a big safety concern, trash left all over siding falling off some of the buildings and gargages. There is no security here at all. If you need to have something fixed forget about it. It can take up to months to be repaired. Office staff is very rude and like to make faces if you come in to complain about fixing things in your apartment. Kids are a big problem here too. They refuse to put any type of signs back here but the other side you will find speed limit signs, towing signs, and resident parking signs too. We have one no parking on a post in the middle by the sidewalk only. This place keeps going down by the month. I hope to get out of here soon. In the last year I have watched people move out so fast because they could not take it anymore. Alot of them were good people too and from what I hear now more are leaving. Very sad place to live. You pay to much rent for getting nothing done.
