#1: My neighbors were drug dealers and criminals. There were all sorts of shady people living in the complex. The cops visited the people across the hall from me several times. Also, I had to call the cops on my other set of neighbors (people adjacent to me) because frequently around 3 or 4 a.m. they decided to try and kill each other.
#2: If you live in an apartment next to the laundry room it's ridiculously loud. Apparently the water heater for the building is in the laundry room and around 1 a.m. a couple times a week it needs to "recharge" (what management said when I complained). Apparently to "recharge" the water heater it needs to recreate the sounds of WWII for almost an hour. I was constantly kept awake by this and management refused to do anything about it (i.e. set the timer to a different time to recharge or fix the stupid thing so it didn't make the noise--there was no way it was normal)
#3: A couple months after I moved in my kitchen ceiling flooded. IT TOOK THEM OVER TWO MONTHS TO FIX IT even though I frequently reminded them it was not fixed. So I basically could not use my kitchen. Plus they did a terrible job of fixing it when they finally got around to it.
#4: There were burn marks and weird yellow splotches on my carpet when I moved in. Also, the carpet smelled when I moved in. I reported this and they did not re-clean it and acted like that was normal! Gross.

This place is seriously a dump. Don't be fooled when you tour the sample apartment, your apartment will be nothing like it.
