If you are a college student, or parent of one, considering Cardinal Villa apartments please be aware of lack of response from management. My daughter moved into the apartments last fall and upon move in filled out a list of items that needed attention in the appartment. These included a closet door that was completely broken and unable to be moved, a door to one of the rooms that would not close and was broken, some serious mold under the kitchen sink, etc. In all about 8 items were listed and submitted for attention. Long story short, I repaired these items about 8 weeks later upon a visit with my daughter. That was one thing, the worst thing was an incident that still isn't resolved. 3 months ago the apartment filled with smoke coming from the dryer area. Request for service sent to landlord via phone call. 2 weeks later maintenance inspected dryer and said they would have to replace. 2 weeks later replaced. (now at 4 weeks without dryer) Upon using the second dryer the apartment filled with smoke an a fire seemed apparent. Maintenance responded and said the problem was vent and would be fixed in a week or so. In the mean time they could run the dryer leaving it vented into the apartment. Do you know what havoc that creates. Dryer's are vented for a reason. It's now 3 MONTHS, numerous phone calls and complaint form later and still no dryer! Owner actually gets mad at me when I call. If you are your own handyman you might like it there, if not, I would look elsewhere. I'm sure we will for next year.

I lived here and had no problems with my landlord or my unit. My friends, also lived there and they had a different landlord, which I never heard them complain about. I beleive all these units are owned by different landlords.
