okay, but kind of bland and poorly built

The apartments themselves are completely bland and horribly constructed--fixtures (bath tub knobs, for instance) broke three times in the two years I lived there. The door to the back porch was built so poorly that you literally could see the outdoors through a crack along the bottom of the door (where there should have been a seal). I complained several times about this, and it was never remedied. This was not a huge deal in the summer, but AWFUL in the winter... it was not uncommon for the power bill in the winter to be $200 and the gas bill to be $100, for a unit with four people living in it.
All in all, they were cheaply built--you could practically hear the people above you breathing, the floors were so thin.
Separate leases for each lessor were a big plus. Office staff was slow, but at least friendly most of the time.
All in all, they were okay places to live while being in college, but I would never choose to live somewhere like that again.
