At fist I thought I had found an awesome place to live. But then I started to notice problems, first they never introduced me to my roomates or even told them I was comming, so when I showed up they thought I was breaking into the place. Then I started to notice I could hear EVERYTHING through the walls. Then our furance started to have probelems and it would stay on all the time and it would be 80 in the apt. So when we called maintence they came over and replaced the thermostat which didnt fix it so I called back and they took 2 days to get there. The got it right the second time and fixed it but it didnt help the $160 gas bill we had that month. Then about a month later when I came home I found that we had water damage on the celing so I called maintence and was told that a washer tile had broken up stairs and leaked water through the two floors below. SO we didn't have use of our washer for 3 days while they fixed it. The next and final problem was a complete disaster. I came home from a weekend trip home and found my apartment door opened and when I walked into my apartment I that the place smelled bad of wet drywall and there where big dryers and a dehumidifer. So when I walked up to my room I noticed that the carpet was soaked in water and each step I took the water was commming out of the carpet. First I would like to point out they didnt even make an attempt to call me and notify me that my apartment had a flood let alone that all my valuables where unsecured. So when I called maintence's emergency number they told me that a water pipe in a bathroom upstairs broke ealier that day and had went unnoticed for a long time since no one was home. They said that it had put arrpox. 600 gallons or so into our appartment, but they where going to fix it. So I stayed at a buddies house that night. The next day I called the leasing agent and she told me that they had set up a room for us at the Holiday Inn, problem being it was one room and the other guy I didnt even know becuase it was someone who was subleasing for one of my roomates. So I got out of my contract after it took them more than 3 weeks to "fix it" and when they did I went back there and the apratment was still a disaster zone.
