Colonial crest is run by probably the most dishonest,crooked people ever. During the time my husband and I lived there we had many go rounds with the office staff, who were more often than not quite rude and condescending, and had even outright called me a liar. And then later when asked for the documentation to back up their claims had to admit that they weren't quite honest themselves about some of the facts. Maintence was always quick to come out to our apartment but never fixed anything right and had to come out several times for the same thing. Security is also lousy. We had to call them several times over our upstairs neighbors who had parties until 2 an every weekend that always ended with someone vomitting over the balcony onto our porch. We were told to just walk upstairs and ask them to quiet down and nothing was ever done. However we got nasty letter from management over the fact that I was very pregnant at the time and left the trash out on the porch for my husband to take out when he got home. Parking is terrible and the rules or even the rent prices are not the same for everyone. The buildings are also not kept up. The day after we moved out a water main in the building broke and the apartment was flooded. A couple of days later we did our move out inspection and found out that the paperwork was already done for the apartment to be rented out to someone else. At that time though nothing had been done to the apartment besides the water being cleaned up. The carpet smelled and there was mold growing inside the wall. Lastly even after we moved out we are still having problems. We have been gone for about a month and are getting conflicting stories over when we will get our security deposit back. The paperwork, they said, has to go through a parent company. Since we couldn't get a stright answer from anyone at colonial crest we asked for the number of the parent company. The accountant refused though to give us the number or even the name of who we would have to talk to.

The office staff was always nice to me and my wife, but people tend to respond to people differently depending on the manner. I have been in the office my self when someone called in about noise. The office staff immediately called security and sent them over.

The staff there is very rude and very incompetent to me as well and I was very calm when dealing with them. I was screamed at when asking one of the girls what they planned on doing about a mold and water leak situation that hadn't been fixed in over a week of us waiting on some kind of action on their part - we couldn't use the sink or dishwasher at all - and I actually had to calm this crazed woman down when I was the one that should have been angry - not her! Eventually it was fixed after many calls. Also, for the most part the mateniance staff was nice and helpful BUT there was this one guy that would always sit by the pool and gawk at the women swimming and as soon as my boyfriend would walk out or drive up in his car, the guy would leave in a rush.... creepy. I strongly advise to stay away from this place!

I have lived at Colonial Crest for 15 years. The office staff has always been very helpful and friendly.The maintenance staff is very responsive and competent in handling any work requests. I have and will continue to send anyone looking for an apartment to this beautiful property. I consider this community my home and feel very safe and happy here. Maybe those who complain are the problem
