I have lived here since mid- July, and it is currently July 28th. On move in day, I arrived at the office and the lady at the desk was confused on why I wanted two keys and two copies of the lease. Mind you, I have a two bedroom, two bath apartment. One for me, one for roommate. After "understanding" She gave me ONE copy of the lease, ONE key, and TWO NON WORKING mailbox keys. (She had stated there is a work order for one..) Frustrated, I gave up. She made me walk with her to fill out the move in inspection (typical) but when I got there she wouldn't write anything down without snotty comments, "We won't charge you for that", "Umm ok.." kind of comments. I asked nicely to just write things down and she finally did. Not to mention when we got there, the apartment was still set up as a model... after she left, another nicer lady asked if I wanted someone to do one last cleaning and I said yes, but that I was moving my stuff that day (my lease began that day!), waited 3 hours for someone to come clean the apartment. Now, we have a long list waiting at the front office to come and fix. Our garbage disposal is broke, our kitchen sinks won't drain, our dishwasher is clogged and we haven't even ran it yet, our bathroom sink leaks like a river, our shower squeals louder than you would believe and two cabinets are missing their shelves. On top, one of the bedroom doors wont even close and they didn't even clean out the windows because they are filled with crap, spiders, cob webs, etc... We have yet to have mailbox keys and yet to have another key to the apartment for my roommate.

And finally, the management is utterly rude and if you can't understand what they say on the telephone, they spell words out for you, give you attitude about everything and overall can make your good day turn bad.

Our lease doesnt run up until May, so we'll have to deal with these people for another 10 months. Lucky us, not.

IF you can, avoid Sugar Bush Apartments, they're ran by people who couldn't careless about their residents.
