We moved to Walnut Manor in July of 2006 after the excessive paperwork was done and we were approved. The apartment was not technically "ready" when we moved in and had broken doors, etc. These things were supposed to be fixed while we were living there. Some did, some remained broken. In November, the complex went under new management or something. they broke out one year lease, giving us 30 days to move out because we "made too much money." The exact same thing happened to my neighbor and boyfriend a month prior to our eviction. The new property manager claimed that whoever filled out our paprework to move us in did it incorrectly and had no sympathy that this was in NO WAY out fault. We moved out in December, only to receive a phone call from a COLLECTION AGENCY about a fee from Walnut Manor that we did not even know existed. They have our address, yet I got no bill. I do not even know what this fee is for so I am going into the office today to talk to them. This place royally screwed us and other people over. I would not reccommend living there to ANYONE and I will probably get a lawyer and sue them for these supposed fees. I have lived at 3 apartment complexes before with no problems. Also they had construction on the building directly behind us all hours of the day and night.

My daughter lives here and it is a government funded property. They do have to follow the restrictions they are given. And they did give you a reasonable amount of time (required by law) for you to move. They are not required to do any more than that.
