I lived in Windermere before the "new and improved" management took over. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the apartment, but it's the management, or lack there of, that has me counting down the days until I can move out...and there are still quite a few to go. Here are just some of the problems I have have faced while living in Windermere; I have been walked in multiple times (I have lost count) by Windermere's "quality" maintenance staff without prior notice...this upsets me because the entire staff is male and I being a female, and part of the time living alone, found this to be a very uncomfortable sitation, however there is nothing I can do about it because in the lease it states that this must be allowed. A similar situation happened to a friend of mine who also live in Winderemere, she had a maintenance guy just walk into her bedroom without even knocking on the CLOSED door and she had her TV on so it was obvious that someone was in there...it's aparent that they are perverts and just trying to get a cheap thrill...how pathetic!! Secondly, our "property manager" if that's what you must call her, has been no where near what I could call helpful let alone courteous or respectful. She is probably the most difficult person to work with, which is not good in a "manager" of any kind...she feels as though "it's her way or the highway". Well I've completely rambled on enough...moral of the story: do yourself a favor and don't sign a lease with Windermere!!

I agree. I have been walked in on in this place many times. My significant other and I had just got out of the shower and went to the laundry room. A the maintenance staff didn't walk just came right in and we were just pissed. We yelled at him asking what the heck he even cam in for. he said it was to clean, but that was bull ---- because we has already cleaned everything and they knew it. We told them. My jewelry was stolen. I made a complaint, and when I came back from school, it was back. The little people must have borrowed it. This place sucks
