I moved into windermere my junior year in 2006. I thought I was in heaven. Loved my roomates love the area loved having my own bedroom and bathroom there was not much I needed in a place. I almost felt like I was better than everyone because I was living at windermere because only the cool people live there. That feeling that I had went away real fast. Although the bad feeling I had about them came about after I signed another year lease because they hound you to sign another lease in September when the ------- year just started. So anyways I got the pleasure to live in hell for the next two years. I had to call a week staright to get my mircowave fixed. Anyone that is a college student knows how much you use the mircowave running to thsi clas an work and everywhere. Although for a whole week I was not able to use my mircowave.
They think that using the key system is keeping the public away from the area. Think again it is so easy to get into the work-out room and other amenties.
Even though I had a terrible time while living there I thought it was only right to clean the apartment and restore it the way I found it. So my roomates and I cleaned the whole apartments and we all thought it looked wonderful after we moved out.
It was no until I got the notice of all my charges from move out that I relazied that I was really living in hell and feel sorry for anyone living there and those who are looking to live there. LET ME TELL YOU KNOW DO NOTLIVE THERE THEY ARE -------!!! Including all of my room mates there was 4 of us when our move out chrges came we were very surpiried.
All of us were charged $ 15 for a remote that was still in the apartment. They thought that we have taken the remote that came with the apartments although we left it in the drawer where we found it when we moved in. We were also charged $5 for stove covers. I kinda understand this on but $60DOLLARS FOR A DAMN REMOTE!!!!!
Also I was charged $ 20 for blinds that wasn't even broken.
I have tried to call numerous times to call the manger mrs. may although she is a busy person because she is never in the office. wow i guess i should be glad that i dont have her life because she is so busy NOT!!!!!!!!!! wonder why the college kids up front that they think are professional but really are not screen the calls. yea she doesnt want to deal with any problems.
Just my final notice. I actully recieved a degree in Residential Property Managment from Ball State and I am very embarrsed that Tina acts the way she does becaause this is not how a propety should be ran.
Thanks Tina for making all of us good property managers look bad because you dont know how to run your property.
Thanks for making my life hell as well.

I just want to say that if your going to write poorly, don't write at all. Learn how to spell since you got a degree in Residential Property Management. I live here and yes sometimes, things don't always go the way you want them too, but suck it up, there's alot of stuff that happens at apartment complexes that can't always be solved. Plus, my friends live in college park, and they came to Windermere to sign a lease b/c it was so horrible, so I think compared to other properties in Muncie, Windermere is pretty alrite. But I do agree on the charges for move-out, make sure to check and re-check your statement.

" all of us good property managers look bad because you dont know how to run your property. " So what property do you manage? maybe I would like to come see how you run things?

See I knew that the propety managers get on here and says good things about their property. I feel that the first person should not tell any one where they work at. That is private. I am sure this last response was from Tina her self. Shouldn't she be working.
