Windermere Place

I have not lived a windermere for about a year now, but I still get updates on this review site to see how others feel about their experience there. It has come to my attention that the same problems my roommates and I had while living there are still going on. The apartments themselves were great...if all the appliances worked that is (and good luck getting them fixed in a reasonable amount of time look out for them charging you for it regardless of what it is). The main problem that everyone is seeming to have is with the management...or lack their of that is(basically non existant). It seems like any problem at all that the tennant has is just too much work for the management to deal with. They were nothing but rude and inconsiderate despite the fact that you're paying 400 to live there. It also looks like there are still problems with how windermere collects and takes care of the rent money you give them. No matter if you paid your full year of rent to them at one time they will still find a way to muscle you out of more of YOUR money. They charge OUTRAGEOUS and confusing late charges fees ect. for anything they can. Also once you see one of these fees and try to bring it to their attention first good luck getting to talk with someone about it and second good luck at getting the matter resolved without paying an arm and a leg for it. To this day it blows my mind how they are still in buisness and how rediculously incompetent the management is. My best advice to anyone looking to live here is to not even bother and to those who do still live there and are stuck in their lease with no way out and feel like you're getting robbed is to go public with it (news, newspapers, anything to get the word out) so that hopefully one day such a nice apartment complex can be ran the way it should be rather that basically getting robbed by the management. One more thing I want to say just to say it is that eventhough I have not lived there about a year now I still get emails from them talking about paying rent online DESPITE the fact that I have called and called and called telling them to never send me an email again...but like everything else...just too much work for the crooks!
