I currently live here in deer chase when I first came to look at these apartments I thought wow there are beautiful. Don't get me wrong they are nice looking apartments I love the way they are set up on the inside, but they are cheap as hell, my apartment is completly brand new, I am the first person to live here, my apartment and my neighbors apartments are all falling apart. The maintence is horrible, and the staff sucks ass. Were should I begin telling my story, well lets start with the MOUSE problem I have had one since I moved in last september, and they are just now fixing the hole in my apartment behind the stove, my daughter is terrified to go in the kitchen (that's were the mouse was). They are refusing to let me move apartments all because they do not want to have to pay the money to clean the apartment upstairs from me and mine. I know you are all wondering if it is that bad why stay, because the rent is cheap and I can not afford to live anywhere else are I would move. There are to many bad ass teenagers around here, which I can say they are starting to get that under control, the playgoround is horrible there is nothing for the kids to do, the staff is terrible. I was told by the manager, assistant manager, and the other leasing agent that I could move when my lease was up, my lease is up at the end of this month and now the lady erin ray from corporate is telling me i can not move because they "fixed my mouse problem" how long did it take them to fix it a year. My daughter is scared and they are basically telling me they do not care how my child feels, and I am not going to stand for that, my rent is never late, I never have any problems, and yet they are not willing to accomidate me and my child. But they let the lady behind me switch apartments, but not me, what is the differnece' I will tell you what it is, it is color and the difference in the price we pay for rent, I am in the 30 percent apartment, and she is in the full price apartment, that is not fair if you do somthing for one then you have to do for all you can not pick and choose who you want to help, I am going to continue living here because I can not afford anything else, but I am not going to let this go, I am going to take this to the top because it is not right and I will not allow someone to tell me that my child and her feelings do not matter.

I also think that Ann Raye is rude and looks down upon us that live here. I had an issue and she was not helpful at all, I left the office feeling like I was low of the low. She is a very mean person. I think if enough of us write a letter to corporate maybe she will disappear.

I am not a resident currently, i wam considering moving over there though. I want to comment on this for 2 reasons. One being, as a mother I can certainly appreciate where this young lady is comming from and sympathize with her. The other is i used to lease for a property management company that specificly handled section 42. A lot of the reason they would not allow her to move is because there are only a certain amount of units that are allocated for section 42 and there are a lot of crazy rules set forth by the IRS for the management companies to adhere to so they qualify for the section 42 tax credit. unfourtunately managements hands are tied on that issue. Especially if theproperty is in a phase they refer to as "lease up" The IRS says you have to have a % of the aprtments occupied to even be considered for the tax credit. It does not make the situation better I know but I can tell you the correct direction to take , it is a bearucratic issue and needs to be taken up with the state. Specificlly, the law makers that have set the rules and regulations for the IRS and the section 42 Tax credits. I hope that helps !
