What I think is funny is that all of us who are arguing and belittling one another online are probably smiling, speaking, and getting along with one another in "real" life (in person here on the property). LOL

And I agree with the comment made by someone:

It you don't like the living conditions of Deer Chase...then do something about it. Create a tenant housing group and stop complaining.

I would LOVE for us (tenants) to do this. BUT not just those that do not like it here, this group needs to include those that love it here also. And don't stop complaining - BUT bring your complaints to the tenants group ALONG WITH your suggestions for solutions to present to the property management staff. A tenants group is not just about complaining it is about empowerment for the tenants with an ulitimate goal of improvement, enhancement, and development of the OVERALL property and living conditions within and around our community.

The reason that I stress the word OVERALL does not negate or minimize anyones individual problems - for example having a mouse problem in your apartment - but by an individual informing the GROUP of the problem, the GROUP then may be able to find out that there are "35" other tenants that also have a mouse problem - THEN as a GROUP we can brainstorm together different possible reasons WHY there is a mouse problem (structure, location, infestation, etc etc) AND brainstorm together different solutions to formally and professionally present (in writing)that we (tenants) think the property/management AND the tenants can use to solve the problem - because remember - whether there are issues and/or things that are supposed to be taken care of automatically within our property or not....THERE IS POWER IN NUMBERS!!!!! AND don't forget - we as a group, we can ALSO present NEW and POSITIVE suggestions, additions, events, etc that have nothing to do with problems or complaints, just something we would like to see here within our property.

So this is what I am willing to do.....

1. I am going to re-post my "reply" as a "comment".

2. I am going to make an appointment to speak with our management regarding the formation of a "tenants group" here on property.

3. I will create a "place" for individuals who are interested in participating in a "tenants group" to supply their contact information
Maybe I can/will:
a. Create a "drop box" in the office - AND
b. Create a "form" to drop in the "box" - AND/OR
c. Supply one of my "email" addresses to reply to
d. Create a "flyer" to post in the office - AND/OR
deliver door to door -AND/OR
have a supply/stack available in the office
