I am currently a resident at these apartments. When I first moved in, I thought "Wow, what a great apartment at a great price". Well, now that I have been here for nine months, my opinion has drastically changed. The parking situation is ridiculous. I am currently eight months pregnant and everyday I have to walk almost a block to get to my apartment. There are two handicap spaces right in front of my apartment, however they are always in use by people who are more than able to walk a few extra yards to their apartments. My lease is up at the beginning of March and I was hoping that there was maybe a loophole for me to get out of my lease early seeing as how here in just a few short weeks I will be on maternity leave and will not have ANY earned income to pay my rent not to mention the unreasonably high water bill (which for the life of me I don't understand how it is as high as it is every month), electric bill, on top of my car payment, etc etc etc... I approached the office staff with my concerns of how I will be able to pay my rent. Their response- "We are fair-housing. If we let one person come to us with an excuse as to why they need to break their lease and let them out, then everyone will want out of their lease early." Yes, I'm sure everyone would want out of their lease early seeing as how these apartments are cheaply constructed and ran by the rudest management I've ever seen. Consider my warning- DON'T MOVE INTO THESE P.O.S. APARTMENTS!!!!
