I lived in Deer Chase Apts for 3 years. The apartment was nice but the office staff was terrible! I first moved into a 2 bedroom apt. with my 2 kids and the following year needed a 3 bedroom due to having a baby. They told me they had a 3 bedroom for me and gave me the address and that I could pick up the key the next week. When I went to pick up the key they had gave the apt to someother person!!!! I had to explain to my children that we would not be moving and would have to stay another year in a 2 bedroom.
Forward 1 year later: Went to the office told them I needed a 3 bedroom apt AGAIN. They gave me the address to the apt. we packed all our belongings and the day before the move the office called to tell me that because I made some over time on my pay check that instead of the rent only going up $75 more a month it would be going up $250 more a month!!!! WHY WOULD THEY WAIT UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE WE WERE PLANNING TO MOVE'''! My kids were so upset. So I didn't sign a new lease and got the Hell out of there. Now they are taking me to collections trying to get a months rent out of me. I gave them notice and I didn't renew my lease but still dealing with that apartment.
BIG NIGHTMARE, DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS THEY WILL GET YOU ANYWAY THEY CAN.

I can't speak for the first time that you attempted to transfer to a 3bd, but I can speak for the last instance. We have income guidlines that we have to follow and the 3bd that you wanted to transfer to was at a price that your income overqualified you for. The income total we arrived at was soley on the most current checkstub at the time and the income verification that your employer completed. When we knew that we were not going to be able to qualify at the rate you wanted we notified you immediately so we are sorry for the inconvenience that may have caused, however it is guidelines we must follow. The money you owe that is currently as a collection on your account is due to your lease stating that you are required to give a 60 day notice which a 30 day notice was all that you gave to the office. Your monies owed consists of last months rent, your final electric bill and final water bill you failed to pay. If you have any questions I would be happy to discuss this with you! And again, sorry for the misunderstanding!
