when i first moved into l.c, everything was fine. then the office staff began to change...over, and over and over. i lost my job, and went to the office to swallow my pride and ask for a 2 day extension to pay the rent. i spoke to the girl who had signed my lease with me. she happily and politely agreed to the extension. then the new office mgr came flying out, and in a very loud tone, announced to the entire office that i could not make any arrangements thru anyone but her, and then let the whole world know that i was unemployed. she agreed to honor the arrangements, however, i was so angry i went to my father and borrowed the money, and came back 20 min later and paid the stupid rent. 2 days later, there was an eviction notice on my door, stating that if i didn't pay my rent according to my agreement, i would be thrown out...when i went to the office to show the mgr my recpt, i was not even apologized to. a few months later, i had another notice on my door, stating that they were evicting me....again. my check had cleared the bank 2 days earlier. again, not even so much as an apology, even though it was again their mistake. i hope someone from harcourt mgmt is reading this...you need to do something about the office staff and you need to do it yesterday.
