My girlfriend and I moved into our first place at Lions Creek. When we got there the carpet was still wet, and it looked like everything had been done to fix what was wrong was done that day. We had our garbage disposal worked on the 2nd night we were there. It sounded like we had our own saw mill. I was waiting to see saw dust fly out of the kitchen. The carpet was on it's last leg. There were carpet squares all over the place to replace bad spots, but it didn't matter what we said because the office hardly ever told the maintenance team. It took us two or three months for them to come out and fix the carpet by the back door. The office told us to just put down a towel. We had ice forming on our back door and now we have a towel stuck to it.... ON THE INSIDE!!! They replaced out bottom element on the water heater three times a month of 3 months, then decided to replace the water heater. We could take a shower for more then 3 min. Then after we moved out, 2 months later I had a letter sent to me stating I owed a balance. After I had already received what remained of my safety deposit. I called the office and they had no idea what it was for, and said it was a mistake. I never got an apology, and the guy was rude and short. He was insistant on knowing who signed it, and to his disbelief he signed it!! L.C. is a great place to start out living on your own with tight budget, but don't over stay your welcome. Your bank book will take the biggest hit.
