We lived at Pebble Brook Village Apartments for two years and were planning to stay a third when we abruptly moved to the Washington, DC area.

The staff is absolutely wonderful and the maintenance is great. They do what they can to fix problems and call in people when what they do doesn't work. They are incredibly accomodating and very nice.

Our electric bill was never over $120 a month, even with leaving all our computers and servers running 24/7. The apartment stayed cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We had a small gap, maybe 1/8 inch, around the floorboard of the door, but it was nothing a draft dodger wouldn't correct. We didn't have a problem with huge spiders regularly, but every once in a while there would be one or two.

We had a problem with parking when the buildings were full and people left their cars parked for long periods of time. We opted to get a garage and a carport - pricey but worth it. The garage didn't work with the key, but it worked with the opener, so it wasn't an issue.

We would hear people above us, but only if they ran around. We did have an incident where the teenager above us slammed a door and knocked our portrait off the wall. We could hear when the people used the restroom, but only when we were in our main bathroom. The master bathroom was quiet; you could only hear the water go through the pipes, which really isn't that big a deal - you have that in a house.

We loved living at Pebblebrook and were very sad to leave. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for - wonderful area, wonderful floorplan and wonderful service. If you want to pay less in rent, then go stay with all the high school kids and welfare people at one of the other apartment communities and be treated in the most disrespectful manner you could imagine.
