I have lived here for almost one year and have been able to observe an obvious difference between the old owners and the new owners. The old owners took better care of the grounds and pond area than the new owners. It is a little sad when you can't walk around the grounds without wishing you had a trimmer, mower or sidewalk blower to help take care of the property. I have a certain problem with an increase in rent and a decrease in apperance. I would hope that when my rent increases I can expect to see the increase put to use. I am not sure I agree with charging people for not picking up their dog's business when the areas that you are expected to put the business is always in need of changing. I do firmly believe that the location of the complex is second to none. It is very easy to get to the airport, downtown Indy (10-15 min depending on time of day) and shopping within walking distance is a plus for when people come to visit. Overall I feel that in an apartment complex the biggest problem for most is adjusting to living right next/ontop of others. I can honestly say it has not been that big of a problem for me, aside from door slamming from those that live downstairs, I have not experienced any of the other noise that has been noted by the other residents. This being said, our unit faces the pond and the fountain blocks out lots of the noise. If you are looking to move in here I really suggest getting the units that are within ear shot of the fountain it blocks out the planes and other road noise. In the winter, not so much but the windows are closed then. I do agree with others that when you live in an apartment complex you should be prepared to walk to your car so parkin is not a problem. So, to sum up I would recommend this complex to others and have renewed my lease.
