Maintenance has the best guy ever named Frank. He's polite, but quiet, and gets the job done quickly and to the best of his ability. I request only him when I need something done. That man deserves a huge raise for everything I've seen him do in a day and during the recent storms and tornado scares! The poor guy was running around in his raincoat in pouring rain and whipping winds! I asked him what he was up to. He said he was shutting off alarms and taking care of residents. Grounds have gone downhill since maintenance lost the older man named Collin. They used to be beautiful, but now there are just misc flowers stuck wherever and bushes haven't been trimmed.
The office staff is polite, but not extremely friendly. I used to know everybody in the office by name, and even considered some freinds, but now I only know the manager's name. There have even been a couple of kids (like 10yrs old) arrested out here for vandalism of buildings and the families are still here. I think they are so conserned with getting people in here, they aren't being as picky as they used to be.
Some residents are ignoring the 2 car limit on parking which is why some people are having trouble finding parking. I used to have neighbors that often times had 5-7 cars parked outside because they were a part of some kind of assisted living thing. They moved out some time ago though and parking hasn't been a problem for me since.
Typical of apartments these days, they aren't sound proof, but they aren't bad. Washer/Dryer hookups a big plus! The funny thing is, they haven't remodeled, so cabinets etc. get beat up (I've seen my friend's after they moved in), but rent continues to go up each year.
Hope Dominion Realty steps in and improves apartments and facilities, or they may be on a slow decline.
