I lived in the complex with one friend. They have somewhat strict noise policies, but it seems the walls were pretty thick, as we didnt hear our neighbors and they didnt hear us. Our immediate neighbors were a family with 1 child and they never complained about parties or friends we had over. The building we lived in was about half senior citizens that would come outside and yell when we would come home from work late, but we ignored them usually.
Laundry was so-so. There are 2 washers 2 dryers per building. Good because you dont need to walk too far, bad because there are only 2. A policy does exist about laundry being removed though after 15 mins from the cycle end so that helps.
Parking was adequate, 2 spots per apt. One car in front of you building the 2nd had to be in the 2nd row by your building a few yrds away. Guest parking wasnt horrible but sometimes they had to park in other sections that had more parking. (We were close to the office so we had to deal with reserved parking issues.)
We had a problem with spiders and earwigs which we ultimately resolved ourselves after they didnt get to the problem. Maintenance was slow in getting to problems. One time the man came to fix a problem and had forgotten to charge his drill so we had to reschedule.
The staff for the most part is friendly and understanding.
The apartements are kept up nice. I lived in one that hadnt been remodeled yet, but it was still nice. newer appliances, carpet, etc.
There is a pool area, playground, and grill area for the summer.
A nice feature is the security doors on the front of each building. The door can be opened with a key to that building's front door, or your individual apt's key. only residents of your building can get in. This did, however, present a problem during move in and move out. We tied the door open but did have problems with neighbors complaining when there were lulls between our moving things. There are strict rules about these doors being propped open so beware. People get testy about the door even if you're carrying groceries in and out and prop it with the door mat. My particular building had the old door bell system where we had to go down to the front door to see who was ringing our bell. Newer/remodeled buildings do have a buzzer system.
Cable tv is a problem for the bedrooms, as ours had one hook up in the living room.
All together it was a plesant experience.
