This was a nice place, but the maintenance sucked. Call the head person Jan if you want anything done. We had to call her bosses "Town Management" regarding the some various issues that we had to wait months to fix.

Please see picture. There were some underage party bachelors above us. Every Thursday thru Saturday night the toilet flushed non-stop. I eventually had waste water from above dripping down through the tile on me while I went to the bathroom. After multiple attempts and over 7 months later they finally had fixed.

The removal of carpeting in halls left dangerous conditions for weeks. Installers removed, but did not replace carpet until we had to call Sherwood Lake's Parent company Town Management. After calls, letters, and pictures they finally came. Tack strips were exposed, posing threat. Elderly man living in the complex with walker and serious complications could not make it through the building without assistance from my husband. This situation was ridiculous and totally uncalled for.

The maintneance staff of 5 is not enough manpower for a place as big as Sherwood Lake. Be prepared to fix your own stuff. The maintenance staff was so overwhelmed because they frequently spent time washing and fixing each others vehicles on the clock.
