Not a good place if you are a student looking for quiet!

I lived at Castle Point for two years. The first year was an excellent experience: adequate parking, quiet apartments, etc. This past year I have regretted moving here almost every night. Parking, especially during football weekends in the fall, and party nights nearly every weekend, is horrible. There are people who don't live at the complex who park near the buildings, leaving those who actually do live here having to park far away, sometimes even at the main clubhouse, quite a trek from the actual apartments. The managers posted signs, but they don't follow up when people break the rules. My biggest complaint has been noise. I am surrounded by college students who seem to have no respect to others. They blast their music and party even on Sunday or weekday nights until 1 or 2 in the morning. Management has been somewhat helpful in addressing this, but they are unwilling to set down actual rules regarding noise limits. I am also a student, and I moved here to get away from the noise and chaos of the dorms; now, I am again surrounded by rowdy students. If you're looking for peace and quiet, it's unfortunately not here.
I will say that the maintenance staff has been excellent: they are quick to respond to troubles and will go out of their way to make sure that the problem is fixed to the tenant's satisfaction. They are also very friendly. I have never had many problems requiring maintenance, but when I have needed outside help, they have been a pleasure to deal with.
Finally, just be aware that heat/air conditioning is not included in the rent and the forced-air system gets pretty expensive.
