Best Place for ND Student

I lived at Castle Point my senior year at ND and I never had a problem with it. My roomates and I chose this place because it had the nicest and best maintained apts by far of the major student complexes and was the best value. Yes, it is further away from campus that a few of the other complexes and you can't walk, you have to drive, but it is still only a VERY short drive and because of this "distance" it is much cheaper. It is perfect for a student who doesn't want to live in a constant party scene. By living here you can have small parties when you want but don't have to have them going on in your backyard every night. There are still a TON of students that live there and when you know a lot of people there it becomes like its own mini satalite ND/SMC campus.
The covered parking is well worth it with the South Bend weather.
The laundry facilities are great (there are 2 washers/dryers) to share amongst 4 apts. I never had to wait.
Pretty prompt with repairs
Well kept, clean (although I had a redone unit, some friends places were not as nice but still very good)
Beautiful complex
Safe
you need a car if you want to live here.
I'm not sure what it would be like for a non student, but for an student it was ideal.
