Good and bad
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 7/19/2006
Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
The Good:
The most tasteful, unique, and eclectic apartments in the city. Units vary. Many have unique fixtures such as skylights, large windows, hardwood floors that used to be the basketball gym, chalkboards, high ceilings, etc.
Location is convenient to the downtown.
The Bad:
Infrastructure not always well-kept. Doors to building left broken or without locks for weeks.
Experienced broken air conditioning for an entire building for a full week in July 2006 with 90 degree heat. I read that Stevenson Mills had broken heat during the winter for nearly a month. Management simply sent a note stating "apologies for the inconvenience."
The neighborhood and residents can be very noisy during the warm months at night. Security guards do not actually do anything.
Trash/recycle dumpsters are not emptied frequently enough (needs to be more than once per week - constantly overflowing). odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
