I lived at Indian Springs last year. The only good thing I can say about the place is that the office staff is very friendly.

The long list of cons:
1. It is not in the best location. Half of the people in my building didn't seem to work. I felt like I was living in a ghetto. My visitors were afraid to walk to their cars at night. They say there is a police officer that lives there and monitors the area but I never saw him once.

2. Buildings are old. I was on the 2nd floor and everytime I walked the floorboards creaked.

3. Air conditioning was horrible. During the summer is was often warmer inside that out. We ran the AC at full blast but it didn't seem to help.

4. My car was damaged while parked in the parking lot. I never felt safe parking my car in the lot.

5. Parking is bad during the weekend.

6. Walls are paper thin. I could hear music being played almost constantly.

7. Water temps fluctuated. While taking a shower the water would go from warm to hot and then to freezing cold. It looked like the whole building shared a water heater, so maybe that was the problem.

8. There was always trash on the grounds. No one seemed the care. If the dumpsters were too full the residents would just leave trash on the ground.

9. Cable service never worked right. I had the cable guys come out numerous times. They told me it was the cable inside the building causing problems.

All in all I would never live here again. I do not recommend it to anyone. Instead Hurwhich Farms is about a mile down the road and is much nicer.

I can only assume that the reviews that say Indian Springs is a good place to live are easily pleased. Indian Springs is bordered against Maple Lane Apartments. They are separated by a tall wooden fence. From either side of the fence, it looks unnerving.
