As a Notre Dame Graduate Student and faculty member at IUSB, I have enjoyed living in the diverse family environment at Indian Springs. I deliberately chose this complex because of several reasons. The amenities provided (washer and dryer, paid gas and water, diverse population, friendly staff and reasonable price). I moved in May 2004 and lived in a 2 bedroom townhouse. While it was nice, it didn't meet my needs and I moved to a 3 bedroom apartment in October of 2005. I love the unit, my neighbors, and the pet friendly policies of the complex. I'm in a 2nd floor apartment, and feel safer here than I ever have.

The complex has a strict noise policy and a South Bend Police officer that lives here and is the complex resource officer with a phone number for complaints (noise, loitering, etc.) Any time I have had a complaint (very seldom) it has been dealt with quickly. There aren't loud parties, and most residents know the rules and follow them. I had many more problems while living in a house I rented in town. So I HIGHLY recommend Indian Springs as a place to live.
If you value diversity, value and family, this is a good complex for you to choose.

What a load of garbage. Diversity, value and family? What a crock. Excuse me, ndiusbgirl (or should I just call you "Indian Springs Manager")? It was a valiant effort to try to make your community sound upscale by claiming to be an ND grad student. By the way, how much sense does that make? "As a Notre Dame Graduate Student and faculty member at IUSB, I have enjoyed living in the diverse family environment at Indian Springs." What does being a Notre Dame grad student and faculty member at IUSB have to do with living in a diverse family environment at Indian Springs? Who talks that way? What do you say when you drive through a Burger King? "Yes, as a Notre Dame grad student and IUSB faculty member, I would like to order a Whopper with cheese". Give me a break. Also, if you read any other reviews you will notice that the Indian Springs manager LOVES to use the word "diversity".
