I lived at the Pointe for 3 years, and I totally loved it. Cheryl and Lisa (assistant manager and manager, respectively) were AMAZING. It was like having a second family.

The tennis court was in great condition, and the pool was great. It was even better once they painted the bottom with their logo- it made it look like a resort!

The maintenance team was almost instant- if something broke, they fixed it the same day or the next day. The hallways were clean and the grass was always mowed. And lets not forget about the underground heated garage! That is an amazing thing to have in South Bend in the winter. I never felt unsafe or anything, which was a big issue since downtown South Bend isn't the nicest area. I did have a bike stolen once, but it wasn't locked, so its really partly my fault, especially living in DTSB.

Unfortunately, just as I was moving out, a new company came in and fired all of the existing employees and brought in their own. So, I can't say anything about the new management, since I haven't lived their under their watch. But I truly miss that complex and the cheap rent!
