I lived here as a Notre Dame senior and would say this place has the feel of an off-campus dorm, but with a lot more space! The apartments themselves were nice and spacious enough to suit me, and we enjoyed using our porch when it wasn't snowing. Maintenance was responsive and replaced our water heater which was old and not working well. Overall I would recommend this but I will mention the negatives I experienced, for the sake of giving a complete review:
The common areas and parking lot are sometimes LOUD from students. From the lower level, I could often hear the people above me talking and walking very clearly.
There are waves of frequent car break-ins but I think this is avoidable if you don't leave things like iPods etc sitting out in plain sight... seems obvious to me.
Also there were serious apartment break-ins over winter break when I was away -- this didn't happen to me personally but it was a big deal! Management did a great job of ramping up security, however, so I think it made the complex stronger.
The in-unit washer/dryers really vary so you should look at the one in whatever specific apartment you're considering to see how old it is. Mine never rinsed the detergent completely out of my clothes, and my friends' dryer actually ripped some of their clothes apart.
