My spouse and I moved into Andover last spring, and we intend to move out this spring. We really just needed a cheap place to stay while we save up our money for a house, and this has been really good for that. We were at another local apartment complex with virtually the same layout and only 10 square feet more than our place here at Andover, but the price was $300 PER MONTH more than here!!! Now, Andover has it's faults, but I can deal with them since it saves us $300 every month. But I definitely wouldn't want to raise a family here and spend years at this place. It is drafty, our upstairs neighbors are noisy, the parking lot in the winter is horrible, the paint jobs in the apartments are pretty bad, and I just noticed that the laundry room door is becoming jammed shut, just to name a few things. So I guess you get what you pay for. One good thing: I have had the maintenance crew over several times for little odd jobs, and they are very professional and easy to work with.

Update 5-1-09: We got egged by some of our neighbors about a month ago (see pictures). And recently we had some water leaking issues in the ceiling of our bathroom. We have had the maintenance crew come out over 5 times to look at it. We thought we had it figured out last time (turns out the upstairs neighbor was dumping a bucket of water on the toilet to clean it about once a week), but we just got back from vacation and noticed that it is leaking again. I am so tired of dealing with this, I don't even want to call in the work order. We will be moving out soon enough, and if the staff doesn't take the initiative to figure it out completely within the first 5 TRIPS, then they probably never will. I'll just put a bucket under the leak-prone area until we leave. Moral of the story; Andover staff doesn't really care about their property and their tenants. I believe that soon enough they will be out of business because the land will be condemned. Don't rent here unless you want to get kicked out by the city!
