My boyfriend and I have not lived here a year and we are itching to get out as soon as the lease is up . I will just list the problems we have experienced:
1. Not even here a week and we learn parking is hard to find while we watched a drunk couple hit one car, and just miss another.( There are no assigned parking)
2. Carpet looked great for two days and then all the stains came to the surface and looked awful.( A burn hole came to the surface for us and was never fixed)
3. Cabinets and appliance's were stained from the previous renters smoke.
4. Laundry rooms are a joke the are always breaking and people remove your clothing all the time.
5. Garbage is left in hallways,along with throw-up from other residents and they sit for weeks until finally someone comes to clean.
6. Music can be heard at all hours along with pounding that will knock your pictures of the wall.
7. People run up and down the stairs like elephants at all times of the night.
8. Front office takes awhile to get back to you and they are not pleasant they treat you like a child.( That might be if you look like you are younger than 30)
9.Windows might need up to date sealing b/c ours grew mold and we both became very ill.
10. We weren't there for a month when our light in the kitchen broke and still to this day doesn't work.
11. If you live on the third floor cracks all through the ceiling and nails look like they are coming through the wall.

Even though all this bad outways the good, I will say that our living room is huge and our rooms are a good size. But there is only one way to put the bed in the master bedroom. I would of loved this place if all the VU kids that lived there didn't turn it into a second dorm room. For the amount of rent we paid things should of been explained better.
