My boyfriend and I have lived here for almost 4 months...and I already hate the place. The people that live below us (apparently they have lived here for a while) always plays music and video games VERY loudly with their bass cranked up to the point where my furniture shakes and when you open the foyer door you can hear it. I've made a complaint about that to the office, they sent a note to the tenants below us, and to play games they had the off ice send one to us saying that we were making loud "basketball-like noises"...I just laughed because we're both very quiet and he's rarely home. Not only that, but I've also complained about the smell of cigarette smoke coming up from the apartment below us, the maintenance men came in and told me that there was nothing they could do, and since they didn't smell it that I was just "sensitive to it." Heck yes I'm sensitive to it, my boyfriend and I both have asthma and allergies. It should matter if I'm "sensitive" to it...I pay to live here...your job is to fix it, if you can't or you won't why should I live here' Also, like others, I've come home to see that the maintenance men are in my apartment "working" on stuff. I don't know you...I sure don't feel comfortable with you in my home when I'm not there...
