Don't waste your time

Blessedly, we are nearing the end of our lease and can't wait to move. we are gladly eating the punitive security deposit penalties so that we may simply rid ourselves of this wretched apartment complex. (FYI--if you move before three years, you can lose more than 60% of your security deposit--they also require that you use a private cleaning service at the close of your lease). I don't have the time to share the complete list of compaints, but here is a small sample to hopefully dissuade you from making the same mistake I have made. On the most basic level, the apartments are very poorly constructed. The "barriers" between apartments seem to be minimal requirements as I can hear my neighbor's conversations through the ceiling--and my neighbor's are not particularly loud. The rudeness of the staff has been well documented elsewhere here, as has such minor irriations such as the comical television choices (which you are required to pay for) and the extremely poor internet connection (which you are also not allowed to cease payment of despite its defacto unavailability). Parking is a joke. They expect you to store your fetid garbage can in front of your door or risk having it confiscated with a fee for its return, and they failed to have the parking lot plowed last year resulting in a hazardous blanket of ice enveloping the area. I cannot more strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.
