My husband and I have lived here for almost 2 years. I really love the office personnel, they are very friendly and very willing to listen and work with you on whatever you ask. The grounds are nice and maintenence is pretty good. Those guys are always working on something. This is a very safe area and the neighbors are pretty friendly. The layouts of the apartments are very nice and spacious. We have been in a 2br and a 3br and I liked them both. The price is higher than most other apartments, but they are not the most expensive i've seen.

There are two things that I do not like: 1> Lots of bugs in the garden view apartments(they did come and spray immediately after being notified though). 2> WAAAY too much air infiltration! Both winters spent here were cold and our gas bill was very high.Air came in from windows, doors, sockets, and (to my surprise)baseboards!

I agree with everything you have said! My wife and I have lived in the Aberdeens for going on 2yrs. The management I love and the grounds are great. However, one thing I really dislike is poor construction. My first year at the apartment complex, even though I had my heat running at 75-80 degrees, my wife and I remained a hostage in our own bedroom because it was to cold to sit in the living room area. When we set in the living room area we had to run a space heater and stay under blankets. After the first year we move from a 2bdr to a 3bdr. It was good at first, but when winter time rolled around it was horrible. My gas bill tripled and I had to put plastic on all 13 windows. The infiltration was so much that the plastic is sticking out from the window at least 8". We have infiltration in the baseboards, electrical outlets and doors. I would recommend the management but I will not recommend the apartment complex because of the infiltrations. If they would fix this problem, the complex would be great. I give the management a 95% and the building a 70%. I love the heated swimming pool and the queit golf course area. If your looking to move here just put plastic on your windows in the early fall and you should be kinda alright.
