My boyfriend and I have lived in Aberdeen for a year now. We just renewed our lease this month. I really like it here, we looked at several places before deciding on Aberdeen and this is by far the nicest place in Valpo. The rent is a little high and they are now charging a one time $20 fee for gym and pool access. The maintenance guys are extremely nice and considerate. The same ones have been here since we moved in. They are very prompt and thourough, any problem we have had has been fixed right away and fixed correctly. The office staff is super friendly and also very helpful. They parking can get a little crowded on the weekends when everyone has guests, but usually during the week everyone respects everyone elses parking spaces and it is kind of understood where your "assigned" spot is outside, even though they are technically not assigned. Our garage is a little leaky and sometimes the neighborhood kids can be a little annoying, but thats to be expected. The flat paint really bugs me because it shows a lot of the flaws and not having HD access could be the worst thing. I would definately recommed this place though. I feel like it is worth the money.
