Ok, I am not the best person to speak to about this because I have only lived at the Hills for a month now, but I felt I needed to give a review and update it later if need-be.

Heres the deal:
1. Yes, Internet isnt the best, but its free and always does fine for me. It runs around 3megs.
2. Someone mentioned flooding in the garage- I havent had any issues with this, and its been raining a lot around here!
3. Bugs- not sure who is speaking about this, but I havent had issues with this on the lower level.
4. Noise- well, I am sorry to say that this is a problem everywhere. I dont hear too much, except when my neighbors flush or use the water in their bathroom (its right above my room- so thats a bit annoying.
5. TV- yes this is probably my biggest bit**. No HD is a pain. Also, I had to wait forever for them to come set it up because they are the only ones that can do it (not DirecTV). But having 16 channels free is nice if you dont watch much tv.
6. Office staff is very nice! In fact, my first rent check was 2 weeks late due to an issue with my paycheck not being forwarded- they didnt even charge the late fee.
7. The clubhouse/pool/cardio stuff is nice enough for me. Someone complained about paying 20 bucks for a key card- big deal, good gosh! I like the system- keeps only residents as users and not just anyone.
8. Parking- does suck Ill admit that. But theres room for 2 cars- 1 in the garage and one in your driveway. I never need more than about 3 spots if I have visitors, which is usually available.
9. I cant speak to the temperature complaints. The blinds do suck though as a side note.
10. I dont care to pay the cleaning fee AND deposit which totaled almost 400 bucks, but thats about right for deposit fees.
11. Trash can being stolen- why would someone do that. Everyone here has one, theres no reason for this to happen. I think the complainer in that one angered someone so they did that to retaliate.
12. Trash removal is included in the rent- not sure why someone said its not.
13. Pool is sparkling clean- not sure why someone said it wasnt.
14. Maintenance- Ive had them here twice, both times they were here to fix the non emergency issue within 2 days. That seems good to me.

Overall, this place is a decent price for what you get. Its in a great area, and the perks are decent. I wish I could pick from there tv service or comcast for the hd, and pick my own internet speed (they could offer the free package and a better speed paid package or allow you to pick your own service). Parking could be improved as well, but again if you dont party and only have 1-2 cars for visitors, you can find spare spots usually. Noise is no different then the three other apartments I have lived in (other states), and I dont go cheap on apartments.

I have to say, some people just want a lot for a little price. I pay 800 for a 1 bedroom, with my own garage attached. If you want something more- pay the fiddler. I did a lot of searching before I chose here, and all apartments were just as much or more without the garage included.

And to the person who said ratings are management- sorry, im just a resident who gets nothing for this. I want to set possible new residents straight (this could all change of course after I stay longer, and Ill update if thats the case. They are great people, and care about me as a resident. But for now, I like my choice.
