Hunter's Point is a decent place if you can't afford anything better. Be aware, however, that it is hit and miss with the quality of neighbors and maintenance. Also there are far too many unsupervised children around. The management is disorganized and constantly changing. The maintenance guys are cool, though. They do all they can.
