I have lived here 3 years. At first, as with any apartment it was nice. There was some rif raft, but management handled it. However, the last two years has been a joke. I've had my apartment broken into 2 times by a neighbor in the building and they have done nothing even though they know who it is too. They have broken into other people apartments also. The current staff here is lazy and nonchalant. There are a lot of drafts through the windows and the floor. I keep putting in the same work request for the past 3 years for the same 2 things. One being that my freezer thaws and my refrig freezes. Instead of them replacing it, they keep doing little things to it thinking they fixed it. There are building violations in the building- no fire extinguisher, security system doesn't work. I bought it up three months ago with pictures and nothing has been done.
Beware! this is a subsidized property. At least before, if people moved in with their section 8 certificates they had a job and good references. Now these people have section 8 certificates and pay the rest with public aid. Don't get me wrong. I never stereotyped people with section 8 until I lived here. Most of these people here don't work so they don't care about the buildings or their neighbors. They start a lot of trouble and watch your comings and goings. There are also disabled people that lived here and group homes. I am in the process of moving. I just can't take it anymore.
