We lived here for 4 years. It was the largest and nicest apartment we have lived in since renting. The rent was cheap, compared with the comparable in the area. The complex changed management 3 times in 4 years, not sure why, but it did not really affect us at all. The apartments are spacious, and the appliances very nice. When our a/c unit crashed, they replaced it quickly, same goes for the dishwasher.
The kitchen is huge with tons of counter and cabinet space.
You could definitely hear the people above you, and they sounded like elephants.
We did have an incident once, where our bike was stolen off the back porch and placed by the dumpster. Since then, we kept our bikes inside.
We were disappointed that the management would not work out a short term lease with us, after 4 years.
The management when we left gave us the majority of our security deposit back, which was nice. We were expecting them to keep most of it, not due to damage to the apartment, but just because they could.
The worst thing about the apartment, is the location. It is off of busy US HWY 52. It seemed like every other weekend there was a car accident just outside our complex. The surrounding area is flush with undergrads, so is sometimes loud on weekends, and the kids drive by really fast.
