The management here are totally incompetent and couldn't give a damn about tenant rights. The day we were to move in we discovered the lease we'd signed previously had been voided, they'd given our residence to somebody else (!!) and asked us to sign another lease on the spot. We were then assigned an apartment that was only superficially cleaned and had not been freshly painted after the prior tenant and it needed a lot of work done. Anyway, we'd already arranged a mail redirection and so this sudden change of plans totally screwed things up. Management said they'd inform the tenant of the place we were supposed to move into to hold any mail while the post office figured things out. They failed to do that, and lodging a second mail redirection confused the postal service - the result: a months worth of mail went missing. Secondly, the internet is pitifully dysfunctional. Everyday the internet connection goes down or runs painfully slow, or works intermittently. Management do not care and the same thing happens repeatedly. I work from home and this situation is unacceptable. It was so bad we had to connect to cable and now our monthly expenses have increased, something we had not planned on. Management will not reduce our rent, even though the service they provide is inadequate and useless if a tenant relies on being connected. The flooding here appears to be something that could have been avoided if there was adequate drainage in place. Do not live here if you have a choice. We're going to lodge a complsint to the better business bureau. Do the same if you are ticked off, then perhaps they may treat tenants a little better.
