Way overpriced

The other negative remarks found on this web site mention most of the negative aspects of the appartments, but do leave out one major drawback-the cost. The rent for McCormick Place is very high for being so far off campus. Trying to justify it by adding the cost of utilities fails to convince me, and anyone else who does the math. Cable TV is sub-par, often having channels with frozen pictures, no audio, or both. One negative aspect not given enough emphasis on this site is the water. The water smells terrible, tastes terrible, and therefore renders the ice maker in the freezer unusable. The water smells worst after not being used for extended periods of time, such as on breaks, and continues to smell bad in all bathrooms no matter how long the appartment has been occupied.
