Screw this place... I?m outta here

They show you a beautiful apartment, complete with new kitchen appliances, nice paint, brand new carpet, and a bathroom that looks like it belongs on Life Styles of the Rich and Famous. In reality ( my roommate and I knew that our apartment was not going to be a wonderful as the one that we were shown), you deal with holes in the walls, terrible plumbing in the bathrooms and in the kitchen, noisy neighboors who rarely ever face penalties for loud parties that last until 4AM, hard water stains EVERYWHERE, appliances and counter tops that have been in use since the 1970s, and a pantry whose size rivals that of a mouse hole ( it does not even have enough space to contain one box of cereal).
For those of you who are reading this, please do not move into these apartments. If you value your money, time and want a place to call home that does not screw you out of rent money every month or have a hobo living less than twenty feet from your door, look elsewhere. The parking lot is also another sham. Over the past twelve months I have had to have the alignment done on my mini van twice due to the egregious amount of pot holes that have never been dealt with by the management of this prestigious living environment.
Do choose to live here if you enjoy plumbing that deteriorates, management with an extrodinary lack of compassion for the safety and well being of its tenants, and awakening to the lovely smell of dead fish wafting into your apartment courtesy of the Wabash River. This place would simply be perfect for you. As for the rest of you out there, LOOK ELSEWHERE! Perhaps the alley behind Bar Barry Liqours or Where Else might provide a more tolerable living experience.
