okay, for the price

It's okay for the price. Nothing really fancy. I lived in a spacious two bedrooms, which is a bit pricey for an old apartment like this. The maintenance sometimes 'forget' to come by, and I more often than not have to make more than one call to the management to solve the problem. Hot water runs out fast, not very pleasant during the winter. Heating and AC appliances must be replaced to more energy efficient ones. They promised to replace the bathroom tiles when I first moved in, but they never do, not even after 2 years living here. Same with the stove, they never change it although they promised to. Did I say that the river by the aparment floods every summer' That wasn't pleasant either. I had to do my laundry outside the facility because the dryer never dry properly. And it's a hassle because you have to keep recharging the card used for the laundry machines. The late fee for rent is ridiculous, $75 per day fee. That, is quite a rip-off. The bathroom is not very nice, small, and gets dirty very easily. The water is hard here. The sink and dishwasher, and the fridge kept having water running down. And the ground maintenance always take place early in the morning, waking up everybody with the whirring sound of the machines.
On the good side, parking is abundant. I never have any trouble finding a convenient parking spot. It is on a bus line, which comes every 30 mins from 7 pm -7 am. I had a new carpet when we first moved in. I stayed for 2 lease terms because all my friends are here, and I was too lazy to move out move in again. The walk-in closet in the expensive 2 bedroom ample. The staff is nice. The deposit is not large too.
It's just an okay apartment. If it was THAT bad, I would have moved after the first lease term ended. The small 2 bedroom wasn't pricey, what you pay is what you get.
I finally moved out because I had to relocate to another city. If you're a student, it's not bad. You can be noisy, most of people who live here are noisy. But if you're not, better pass this apartment.
