Just to rant briefly, and I do mean briefly, Williamsburg on the Wabash is the worst place I have EVER lived. Period. I have lived in about 6 different apartments. This one takes the cake. Management is the worst you will find within a 200 mile radius guaranteed. I would go into the office and complain about health hazzards that existed BEFORE I ever moved in and they would just say "Oh we'll fix it. Fill out a maintanence report and we'll have it fixed right away". That was a complete lie. I probably complained OVER a dozen times about the HUGE gapping hole of MOLD growing under our sink from years and years of the management not doing ---- about it. Oh, and when they finally decided to come in and "fix" the problem only because I had threatned to shut them down by calling the Board of Health, all they did was PAINT over the mold!!! Painted over this huge gapping hole of mold. Not to mention the mold on ALL the windowns, sliding glass door, and tub that was ALL there before we moved in.
That is just ONE of the many complaints I have with this place. Just a few other tid-bits, if you are looking for a QUIET place to live, then Williamsburg is NOT for you. The walls are paper thin and you can hear just about everything that goes on around you, outside, above you, next to you, out in the hallways, etc. My neighbors loved to party 24/7 even on week nights.
Office staff are complete idiots. Totally incompetant. If you have any doubts about your roomate not being the perfect angel who you know will never skimp you on rent, then don't move in. The way that they have the lease set up is that even if YOU pay your half or third or fourth of the rent, YOU will be charged if your roomate(s) do not pay their portion. If you do not pay your lazy roomates portion of the rent, YOU will be evicted. Doesn't this place sound awesome'
Not to mention our aprtment was BROKEN INTO 3 TIMES!!!!!! (Also our mailbox was vandalized)! Did the office care or do anything about it' NO. Of course not.
Office staff also tried to tell me that I did not have a roomate...which was completely un-true. They were just too stupid to read the ------- contract where my roomate signed. I think they actually lost the stupid thing until a while back. I AM DYING TO MOVE OUT OF THIS WRETHCED -----HOLE!!!
PLEASE Do yourself a favor and if you value your mental sanity and your overall health at all....DO NOT LIVE AT WILLIAMSBURG ON THE WABASH!!!!!
P.S. There is trash EVERYWHERE on the grounds and dog ---- that NEVER gets cleaned up!!!
